Great value for the money! This hotel is located a 2-minute walk from Iriya Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya line. The room is compact, but the building is relatively new. The receptionist is well-trained and explained everything I needed to know during my stay. The hotel offers a welcome drink, and the late-night Ochazuke, a rice soup with pickles. I chose the stay with the breakfast buffet, and it is a very nice spread. It is a great value.

Loved the location in a quiet area, but still very near a small station that quickly brought us to all over town. 2 family marts nearby. The hotel breakfast had good variety and lots of fresh fish. They also had free drinks (coffee tea sodas and juices). My fave was the free ochazuke at night, so filling after a tiring day of exploring. Only bad part: elevator was broken during our stay and we had a 5th floor room. The kind staff carried oir luggage during check in and check out.

Pros: - The staff are very friendly and accommodating - Free drinks (but cannot take out). Also free rice soup meal around 9:00pm which was really nice and I didn't need to have dinner outside - Laundry Area is available and you can also buy your own detergent - It was very near Tokyo Metro (Iriya Station) - I really had a great sleep - Many amenities for your face and body (even bath salts for your night soak at the tub) - They were nice to cancel my booking day before because I had emergency change of plans Cons: - The rooms seem quite old - The airconditioning unit was a bit dusty - The breakfast was nice, but lacked variety and options

Best hotel ever. For a hotel thats about $100 a night, its definitely worth it. There are free amenities at the front desk, and most staff don't even care how many you take, unless its like a quarter of the supply. I took 6 bath salt packets and staff said nothing. Came back the next morning to take another 6, they said nothing. The sweets time before 10pm is awesome, and although there are only 3 varieties of sweets, they are high quality. There is always tea and water in the dining area to drink, which is very convenient. 3 vending machines out front, can't get any better can it? Well, it can. Ochazuke time from 10pm-11.30pm with a big variety of toppings and bases to choose from. The best part? The morning buffet. It literally has as much food as a regular buffet, and has high quality. Also, if any staff members are reading this review, then I want to tell you that the sign for the ochazuke time is spelt as ochaduke instead of ochazuke. In my Top 5 Hotels list.

For the budget given, this hotel is good, i will recommend others if looking to stay in Taito city near public transportation. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, and willing to help with whatever we needed. Room service is upon request, they have complimentary, refreshments in the afternoon & evening. Room space enough for solo traveller. Clean and good condition. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to metro, bus stops, restaurants, bars and convenient stores.
